It's very easy and takes you less than 10 minutes to intall an Expert-Advisor in MT4.
To install an Expert Advisor for automated trading, follow these steps:
Install the MT4 Software that you have received from your broker on your VPS-Server, if you haven't already done so
Open the MT4 platform on your Windows Server
Select ‘File’ from the main menu
Click on ‘Open Data Folder’ to bring up a new folder panel
Select the ‘MQL4’ folder, followed by the ‘Experts’ folder
Drag and drop your EA file(s) into this folder
Restart MetaTrader 4 Software for your changes to take effect
alternativ you can also klick with the right mouse to expert-advisors in the left pane of the software and then klick "refresh" so that all loaded expert-advisors in the /MQL4/Experts folder will be reloaded
Once you see your new EA you can drag it with the left mouse to a chart within your MT4 application.
To see if an EA is currently active, the top right corner of the chart you have applied the EA to will display a smiling face icon.
If you do not see the smiling face icon or you see a sad face, check that the AutoTrading function is active. To switch on AutoTrading, click the ‘AutoTrading' button. You will know the function is active when it displays a green ‘play’ icon. Then try to add the EA again.
